In May this year Simon left Motorsport after 10 very successful years. After 7 years in Formula 1, 18 months training Drivers privately and 18 months as Performance Director at Nissan's GT Academy, Simon is now taking his experience and knowledge into other areas of sport, most recently Tennis as well as Motivational speaking within the sporting and business worlds and private consulting. Simon is currently working with a Professional Tennis player and has attended a number of tournaments already. He has also provided a number of motivational talks at corporate events across the country and works up in London with private clients once a week.
Simon was recently the closing speaker at the 2014 VAL Future Focus Conference where he spoke about how to embrace change without fear and how to exceed your expectations. Future focus is the largest event of its kind for both the local and voluntary community sectors, and is held in Leicester. Here Simon was able to share with the audience his methods using real life examples and his experience supporting his philosophy.
Simon has also recently joined the top portfolio of speakers at Catalyst World Class Speakers (http://www.catalystworldclass.com/) who are the leading provider of distinguished and talented speakers, and has recently been on their radio, and is currently one of their speakers in the spotlight.
Simon is exceptionally passionate about what he does and enjoys passing on his knowledge and experience to those who are open to being the best they can be. He has also spoken to groups of school children, as he also believes that educating children about how their minds work and understanding themselves better can have a very positive impact on their future behaviour as well as their behaviour at school, and their results in the classroom. Simon enjoyed this so much that he has now applied to the Princes Trust so that he can continue to contribute with his work.
